A thumbs-down from Boston on the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh--and a call for survivors of sexual assault to be heard. This morning, at a rally on City Hall Plaza, elected officials and advocates for women denounced Kavanaugh's qualifications.

City officials are getting close to their first agreements with companies selling recreational marijuana. According to the Boston Globe, officials say they expect to negotiate host agreements by middle of the month.

An entertainment company's teaming up with the Boston Red Sox to build a performing arts center next to Fenway Park. According to the Globe, the Sox and Live Nation want to develop the largest venue of its kind, with five thousand seats.
