We begin tonight with a new plan for healing neighborhoods affected by violence. Mayor Walsh is setting up five teams for trauma response and recovery, in Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, Mattapan, and East Boston.

The City Council's considering a move by Mayor Walsh to get more funding for preschool. The mayor recently filed a home rule petition that would tap revenue controlled by the Mass Convention Center Authority. The money's from taxes on visitors.
