We begin tonight: Holy days marked by fatal shootings in Dorchester. One shooting took place last Friday, a little after nine a-m, on Quincy Street. The other took place Saturday afternoon, a little before four o'clock, on Evans Street, near Morton Street.
Some drivers are getting payments from the city for vehicle damage caused by potholes. According to the Globe, total payments between two thousand thirteen and last year were more than one hundred sixty-three thousand dollars.
More local students will have access to fresh meals, thanks to kitchen renovations in the Boston Public Schools. The city's expanding a pilot program that allows meals to be... prepared on-site, including here at the Bradley Elementary School in East Boston.
