Our top story: a teacher in the Boston Public Schools arrested for indecent assault on a student. Thirty-one year-old Nicholas Speller of Malden was arrested yesterday afternoon. He's a gym teacher at the Patrick J. Kennedy Elementary School in East Boston.

City officials are facing more business opposition over regulations for short-term rental housing.
A proposal by Mayor Walsh allows rentals only by owner-occupants of small residential properties.
Airbnb says the city should also allow home-sharing by renters.

The city's also trying to restrict the expansion of free-range bike-sharing.According to the Globe, the city this week has taken as many as thirty bikes left on the streets of Boston by customers for a startup based in Cambridge.
