We begin tonight with a new home in Roxbury for people in recovery. The opening took place this morning for the New Joe-lyn's Family Home, operated by the nonprofit Victory Programs. The residential treatment program was displaced almost three years ago by the closing of the Long Island Bridge.
The city's trying to get state approval to build a new facility for Boston Arts Academy.
The plan calls for replacing the current school near Fenway Park with a a five-story building. According to the Boston Globe, each floor would include performance or gallery space.
An M-I-T study says new restrictions on immigration could threaten the Greater Boston economy. The study was commissioned by Jewish Vocation Services.
