We begin tonight with a change in leadership for the Boston Public Schools. Superintendent Tommy Chang has agreed to resign--after less than three years on the job. According to the Boston Globe, this follows dissatisfaction by Mayor Walsh with the school system's pace of improvement. Four more Boston firefighters have been faced with disciplinary action for their posting on social media. According to the Globe, one of them has already agreed to retire--and avoid proceedings. Immigrants targeted for deportation once again face being arrested at government offices. The arrests were halted earlier this year. But one federal official in Boston confirmed last week the arrests would resume. Interview with Kirstie Pecci, Conservation Law Foundation.
