Our top story: Boston school superintendent Tommy Chang responds to concerns over the sharing of information about immigrant students. A civil rights group says a school incident report was used by federal authorities for deportation proceedings against a student from East Boston High School. A local candidate for Congress, City Councilor Ayanna Pressley, wants the main federal agency for immigration to be defunded. In a statement yesterday, Pressley blamed the Immigration and Customs--or ICE--for deeply flawed, destructive policies. City officials in Boston are trying to keep pace with new traffic patterns encouraged by apps for navigation. These are mainly used by drivers for ride-sharing companies.
