Our top story: activists and faith leaders call for a boycott of Faneuil Hall. Today's march to the historic meeting-place was part of an ongoing campaign to have it renamed in honor of Crispus Attucks. The hall's named for its original donor to the city--a merchant and philanthropist who was also a slaveholder. State legislators in the House of Representatives are being criticized for a lack of progress on money for public schools. After a funding increase was approved by the senate, members of the House failed to reach agreement before the end of the legislative session on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Governor Baker wants a change in legislation for short-term rentals, such as Airbnb. The bill passed by legislators would tax and regulate most rentals in larger properties, with some exemptions for owner-occupied units.
